Today Bridgette and I went to the newly remodeled library to work on a school project. These antlers (I think?) were a big part of my childhood. They used to be outside of the library when I was a little girl. My dad and I would have daddy-daughter days where he would take me to the library and then out to Taco Bell. Anyways, after three years of construction the antlers have been moved inside the building and in front of a waterfall. The new building is really pretty, but I’ll always have the memories in my mind of daddy daughter days and the cheap looking orange spinnie chairs in the kids section.

On the way to Bridgette’s house to go to school today I saw that one area of the lawn at this apartment building was just covered with birds. I guess someone had thrown birdseed out their window or something. It made of a really interesting sight. Anyways, on the way back out of the subdivision I was going to take a picture, but something caused all the birds to start flying. That resulted in this picture, which reminds me of a scene from the movie “The Birds.” What was more comical than that was Bridgette ducking behind her steering wheel going “Did you get them!?!”

I love my video iPod. My only complaint has been that it didn’t have a general “add to playlist” option that my other mp3 player had. Today I was waiting in the Sonic drive thru and was looking at my iPod playlists. I finally decided to look and see what the “On-the-go” playlist was. Turns out it was exactly what I wanted. All I have to do is press the center button when I have a song highlighted and it adds it to the playlist. Oh iPod, you know me better than I know myself…

Even though I’m 22 I still love to color pictures. A couple of years ago Sam got me a Veggietales coloring book and an awesome box of over 100 Crayola crayons. We would color pictures to God. Every now and then I get out my crayons and color a picture. This picture was to my Sam.

Sam and I went out tonight to Bass Pro Shop. We’re not so much the outdoorsy type people, but we love to go upstairs and shoot the laser gun! I like to hit the monkeys and make them dance!
