I took some time tonight to make something I’ve been meaning to finish for awhile now. Sam bought me this bag while we were on our honeymoon and I’ve just now took the time to pick and print pictures to fit in it. I’m happy with how it turned out! 
Some friends and I got together the tonight for the first of our “Christmas Craftin’ Nights.” I made little booklets for everyone to write down what they wanted to make for their friends and family, as a way to organize and something to look back on in the future.

Last night I found an old pad of scrapbooking paper that I had forgotten I had and an old planner that had never been used. Out of that I made myself this cute little checkbook cover. It makes me smile, so I figure it was a good five minutes spent!
With kids going back to school in just a few days in the area, I think it’s just starting to hit me that I’m finally out of school. It’s a weird feeling, considering that for the past 18 years, I’ve been spending the majority of my days in class, doing homework, or working on some sort of project that I’ve dreaded. School wasn’t all that awful in the long run, but I’m very happy that I won’t be going back this fall. I think about all the possiblity for the time that won’t be spent on the aforementioned things. I’m particuarly looking forward to Christmastime and not having finals that leave me with only a couple of weeks to enjoy the season.
