Random Things About Me In No Particular Order
I’m 23 years old. This is a weird age for me, but then again I guess all of them were in their own ways. I’m finally starting to get into the groove of a “real life” routine but I’m still trying to really find out who I am as an adult.
I married my husband Sam on May 19, 2007. Married life is so much better than I ever imagined, and trust me I thought it was going to be pretty great. I really do feel like Sam is my other half and our strengths lie where the other’s weaknesses are. It’s wonderful being able to come home to him each day.
I always seem to have a ton going on in my head and often have a hard time focusing. Sometimes this is an advantage. Most of the times this is a disadvantage.
I’ve been writing about parts of my life online in some capacity since I was in I was in 7th grade, mainly as a way to keep in touch with friends, but I’ve also met some wonderful friends online.
Sam and I got our dog, a Yorkie named Levi, in June of 2008. Levi’s favorite hobbies are playing with his red ball, eating/playing with ice cubes, and stalking bugs outside.
I am a Christian, with a passion for Children’s ministry. I absolutely love hearing what God’s doing in other people’s lives.
I started this website in January 2007 as part of a class project, but also something that I had been wanting to do for awhile. You can read more about this website here.
I’m a gadget-aholic. Kitchen gadgets, computer gadgets.. you name it, I probably think it’s the most awesome thing ever.
Sam and I bought our first house in April of 2008 and we LOVE it! Since getting the house I’ve been subscribing to the FlyLady school of thought, starting to build routines to make our lives easier. I’m really enjoying making our house a home, although it can get overwhelming at times, if I let it.
I love being crafty. My current crafting is crochet, but I got through stages. In 2007 I had a happy homemade Christmas, where I made everyone’s gifts. It was fun, but I don’t think I’ll take a challenge that big on again.
