My Yarn Stash For Gifts
One fun thing that has redeveloped in my life is my crafting habit. I’m not sure exactly how it came about, or how I am keeping up with it (typically my grand plans fizzle out after a couple of days) but I’m thoroughly enjoying the process so far.
Sam and I had planned to have a “happy homemade Christmas” this year for awhile now, but I wasn’t really sure how it would work out (due to the aforementioned typical fizzle). I’ve already started working on presents though which is awesome and has been a lot of fun. I’m hoping I’m able to keep up my trend.
Of course, since the crafting is mostly for gifts, I can’t post about the now because some friends and family read this site and the gifts would be spoiled. I know that’s no fun, but I’ll be sure to make a big post about it all after Christmas!
For me, getting back to crafting has really done something for me. It’s making me feel like I’m getting things accomplished. And, since one of my major love languages is gifts, I feel like I’m doing something for my loved ones, even though they don’t know that I’m doing it! It’s good feeling accomplished.
If things continue to go well and I’m not too burnt out after the gifts are done, I’m hoping to further developing my crafting and perhaps create an Etsy shop for the site.
