
Today’s Hungry Girl newsletter linked to this site that is an ongoing project of how foods look in advertisements versus when you actually buy them. I think it’s really interesting. The beef ‘n cheddar from Arby’s looks particularly unappetizing to me.
I must say that I do think it’s interesting the process that must go into photographing fast food for television ads. To be able to show every little ingredient down to the ketchup and mustard on a burger is truly an art form.

I remember having a classmate in elementary whose mom was a fast food photographer… Apparently, they do a lot of work because they were living in a huge house in the Hollywood Hills…interesting how important pictures are…
