I used to be a reader - big time. My family says that I used to have a book with me everywhere I went and it was true. I could devour books like none other and reading was one of my favorite passtimes. Then high school hit and required reading kind of put a damper on things. Occassionally I will find a book that really keeps my attention, but I read a lot less than I want to.
Today my friend Mandy invited me to join GoodReads, a website that reminds me of Facebook, only all about books. It’s a really neat site and I like the concept of seeing other’s thoughts about books. Also, it’s nice to see the books you have read all organized (makes me feel like I’ve read more!).

Yeah, I didn’t have time to read when I was in school either. It took me about 6 months to get through a book that a coworker leant me.
I’m glad you enjoyed the card! Oh, and my birthday is Sept. 14. It’s done been and gone this year.
Bummer.
