We’ve been run a little ragged here lately between looking at houses and other tasks that we’ve had to do. We haven’t been to the grocery store in over three weeks - where we normally go about once every other week. We have food, but all of the perishables and convenience foods are gone. This morning I looked frantically for something to take for my lunch. I ended up grabbing a Hot Pocket that had been in the freezer so long I didn’t even know what type it was.
Thankfully a friend got a couple of free samples from the vending machine guy (they’re trying to promote new items) and asked if I wanted to share. Yay!

I’d definitely pick free samples over Hot Pockets! I had a lot of them when Daniel and I were poor and traveling, and I got so sick of them. That and Digiorno’s pizza. I could never have either one of them again and die happy.

Although I will admit as far as Digiorno’s goes, it probably didn’t help that I always forgot to remove the cardboard when cooking the pizza so it usually didn’t come out right. =D

lol. I hate it when there’s no food in the fridge. =] Hopefully you’ll have some time this weekend for some shopping.
