With kids going back to school in just a few days in the area, I think it’s just starting to hit me that I’m finally out of school. It’s a weird feeling, considering that for the past 18 years, I’ve been spending the majority of my days in class, doing homework, or working on some sort of project that I’ve dreaded. School wasn’t all that awful in the long run, but I’m very happy that I won’t be going back this fall. I think about all the possiblity for the time that won’t be spent on the aforementioned things. I’m particuarly looking forward to Christmastime and not having finals that leave me with only a couple of weeks to enjoy the season.

That’s so funny - it took me until the next year’s classes started for me to start actually feeling like it was done, too. Haha.

Meredith,
I just had a moment of realization as well. I sent Jared off to kindergarten and realized that I will be doing this for the next 15 years or so! Enjoy it while you can!!

Jina,
I can’t believe that Jared is already in Kindergarten! I saw him at VBS and he’s growing up so much. I still remember when we went to the fair while you were pregnant with him. Hope you and the family are doing well!
